Scope

The Journal of Science and Technology, Southeast Bangkok University publishes research articles, academic articles and book review in the fields of Science and Technology. The journal welcomes submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Computer Engineering and Telecommunications
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Multimedia Technology and Animation
• Educational Innovation and Educational Technology
• Industrial Engineering and Industrial Technology
• Business Innovation
• Other related disciplines in Science and Technology

The journal also encourages interdisciplinary studies and integrated research that contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and innovation.

Objectives

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Science and Technology, Southeast Bangkok University, aims to disseminate high-quality research articles and academic papers contributed by faculty members, students, researchers, scholars, and the general public from both within and outside the University, as well as from national and international institutions. The Journal seeks to promote the creation of new knowledge, foster academic exchange, and encourage the utilization of research outcomes at both national and international levels. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by qualified experts in accordance with academic standards and research ethics.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least three qualified experts in the relevant field. More than 50% of the reviewers must be external experts from different institutions.

The journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review process, whereby reviewers do not know the identities of the authors, and authors do not know the identities of the reviewers.

Publication Language

The journal accepts manuscripts in both Thai and English.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes two issues per year:

• Issue 1: January – June
• Issue 2: July – December

The journal also adopts an Online First publication model. Articles that have successfully passed the peer-review process and completed the editorial and formatting procedures will be published online prior to their inclusion in a regular issue. This approach facilitates the timely dissemination of scholarly work and enhances accessibility to research findings.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The publication fee is 4,500 Thai Baht per article.

Authors are required to pay the publication fee only after the editorial board has completed the initial screening and has accepted the manuscript for the peer-review process.

The publication fee covers editorial management and peer-review administration. Therefore, the fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cases where the manuscript is rejected during peer review or is not accepted for publication.

The opinions and statements expressed in articles published in the Journal of Science and Technology, Southeast Bangkok University are solely those of the respective authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Southeast Bangkok University.

Authors are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and proofreading of their manuscripts. Any errors or omissions remain the responsibility of the authors.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to prohibit the reproduction, distribution, or publication of any part of the journal's content without prior permission.

All published articles are considered the copyright of the Journal of Science and Technology, Southeast Bangkok University.

Journal History

• The journal changed its title from Journal of Science and Technology, Southeast Bangkok College to Journal of Science and Technology, Southeast Bangkok University, effective from Volume 3, Issue 1 (2023).
• The journal revised its publication frequency to two issues per year, effective from Volume 3, Issue 1 (2023). Previously, the journal published three issues per year during 2021–2022.
