The Environment and Natural Resources Journal (Environ. Nat. Resour. J.) is a peer-reviewed and freely available online journal, published in six issues per year by the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, Thailand. The journal publishes the original research articles in all areas of environmental science and natural resource management with emphasis on Asia and Southeast Asia. All articles are considered for publication in this journal with the understanding that they must not be previously published in another journal or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. The journal follows the single-blind peer review process to maintain the quality in the published articles. The submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers in the relevant fields and must be approved by the editorial board before being accepted for publication. Publication Fees, Refund and Return Policy 2024

To maintain its open-access policy, the Environment and Natural Resources Journal (EnNRJ) has implemented an article publication fee of 250 USD per article for manuscripts originally submitted after May 1, 2024. This fee is payable after the final acceptance of the manuscript. The cost covers administrative and managerial expenses associated with publishing operations, page composition, web hosting, and other necessary functions involved in processing.

This announcement will take effect from May 1, 2024, onward. We welcome article submissions from any country. Manuscript quality will be evaluated by the Editorial Board and reviewers before publication to ensure that published articles meet our criteria. High-quality, open-access articles will be distributed worldwide.

Refund and Return Policy

  • The authors are required to pay the Article Processing Charges (APC) once the journal accepts the article.
  • If the authors wish to withdraw the article after paying the APC, the APC will not be refunded.
  • If an article is retracted due to any malpractices, the publisher bears no responsibility for its withdrawal or retraction and no payments will be refunded

Discounts and waivers

  • There is no APC for invited review articles.
  • EnNRJ offers APC waivers to papers whose first author or corresponding author is based in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income economies.
