Abstract

In this study, an acceptance sampling plan (ASP) is proposed under a two-parameter Akash distribution and truncated life test. The research represents the minimum sample sizes for the lifetime testing, operating characteristic function, producer’s risk for the developed sampling plan and the application for a real data set. In addition, the developed method is compared with an ASP based on one-parameter Akash distribution. The results showed that the proposed ASP is effective in deciding whether to accept or reject the product lot.
